That’s why we have semester classes on KidPass now, and we’ve just added a bunch of new classes to keep your kids busy all season long. Check out our picks below!
ACD After School Program
Weekdays, 2:45 PM – 5:45 PM, Sep 9 – Jun 26 / Astoria / 4 – 13 years old
ACD AfterSchool Program offers pick-up from school for grades Pre-K through 5th. Children will be provided care, along with homework help, open play, art, music, and chess. It’s a safe space where they can interact with other children and explore new activities.
This class is a great way to get your child prepared for preschool. Free play at arrival time, circle time to greet the children through songs and movement, snack time, story time, art or a sensory activity, and good-bye with bubbles. Oh, and all of this is in French!
CAMP After School Camp: Campers Create
Mondays, 3:30 PM – 4:15 PM, Sep 16 – Dec 23 / Chelsea / 5 – 8 years old
Counselors show CAMPers how to make cool stuff with everything from marshmallows and duct tape to popsicle sticks and pom-poms. Take part in a new series of crafts that are designed in connection with CAMP’s rotating themes!
CAMP After School Camp: Campers Take the Stage
Mondays, 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM, Sep 16 – Dec 23 / Chelsea / 5 – 8 years old
Join a dynamic and imaginative theatre class that will explore different performance art forms from puppeteering and improv to magic and more. And at the end of the semester, there’s a CAMP Variety Show. No need to attend them all to participate. All are welcome!
CAMP Mini Camp: Little Maestros

Come and join the fun with the Little Maestros band for a joyful and theatrical music experience. For music-obsessed kids and their rockin’ grownups, come to CAMP and see how contagious the Maestros enthusiasm for music truly is!
CAMP Mini Camp: Making Moves

Dance, flex, and wiggle in this playful and energetic CAMP activity. Specialty CAMP Counselors will lead kids through a mix of yoga and dance games inspired by CAMP’s latest theme. For CAMPers and grownups who love stretching, music, and movement.

Take your minis to the CAMPitheatre to sing, shake and move to classic nursery rhymes and pop favorites. Little rock stars and their music-loving grownups will celebrate a life-long love for song, dance, and making new friends!

Music Together is a research-based music education in a relaxed, fun, playful, non-performance-oriented setting, with activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of young children. Since young children instinctively respond to and imitate their loved ones, the active participation of parents and caregivers is an essential part of the program. The program comes with a new song collection every semester, with illustrated songbooks, recordings, and parent education to use all week long.
Prep for Littles Alternative Preschool
Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:00 – 11:00 AM, Sep 9 – Dec 18 / Upper West Side / 18 months – 3 years old
Prep for Littles is a 2 hour program that provides children with an opportunity to gain a sense of independence. Both caregiver and child gradually go through a separation process in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Activities are designed to build the necessary skills that encourage a smooth transition into preschool and/or kindergarten. The program is divided into two parts – sports in our gym and structured classroom time. All instruction has a 4 children to 1 coach / teacher ratio.
Tig & Peach: Art & Movement Preschool Prep
Fridays, 10:15 – 11:00 AM, Sep 13 – Dec 6 / Pelham / 18 months – 3 years old
Get creative with your child! This class features story time, circle time, arts & crafts, and musical movement play. With your support, children will engage in meaningful playtime. In this class, a little bit of everything keeps it interesting for toddlers, and the familiar weekly routine prepares little ones for the flow of preschool days to come.
Tig & Peach: Baby Signs
Fridays, 9:15 – 10:00 AM, Sep 13 – Dec 6 / Pelham / 2 months – 2 years old
Open a window to your child’s heart and mind! This is a musical, early communication class that will teach families to communicate using vocabulary from American Sign Language, based on the award-winning Signing Time television and music series and taught by certified instructor Chloe Tompkins.
Tig & Peach: Multilingual Music Class
Wednesdays, 4:15 – 5:00 PM, Sep 11 – Dec 4 / Pelham / 0 – 5 years old
Rock out with your little one in this live interactive music class! We will enjoy kids’ classics, contemporary hits, and fun originals in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. Each class will feature live accordion music, classic instrumental tracks, sing-along songs, bubbles, and the delightful music stylings of Chloe from Chloe’s Kids.
Tig & Peach: Toddler Yoga & Mindfulness with Music
Tuesdays, 9:15 – 10:00 AM, Sep 10 – Dec 10 / Pelham / 1 – 3 years old
Certified yoga teacher Tizzy will give your children the tools to take in the outside world to be calm, to breath, to be still and always be kind. Incorporating songs, books, games, stories and movement in her style, along with traditional yoga poses, Tizzy keeps toddlers engaged through every moment. By the end of the semester, the transformation will be amazing!
