National Dance Day is this weekend and we want you to get out there and bust a move—don’t worry, no rhythm required! Whether you want to dance alongside your kiddos in a music and movement class or drop them off to learn some sweet new moves at a hip hop or ballet class, we’ve got all the best ways to get your kids (and possibly you) up and dancing this weekend!
Just Dance! Dance Camp at Studio Bleu Dance Center

Drop your tiny dancers off for a half-day of dance and fun! Kids will enjoy an hour of dance, craft/prop time, and a snack break.
Move and Groove at MOCO Movement Center
Friday, July 26th, 10:15 AM & 11:15 AM / Bethesda / 6 months – 6 years old
This class is designed to encourage a child’s natural musical abilities in a safe, fun, and supportive environment while exercising. Children, along with a parent, will be encouraged to sing, dance, climb on over-sized blocks, roll down inclined mats, shake shakers, bang drums, and toss scarves around. Instruments provided include castanets, triangles, guitar, boomwhackers, electric guitars, a drum kit, keyboard, and many more.
Hip Hop/Tumbling at East Coast Edge Performing Arts Center

Kids will love learning this popular form of street dance that includes breaking, popping, isolations, and jazz-funk all in an athletic and energetic dance style.

Dance and sing together with your little one!. This super fun and energetic class helps even the youngest dancers to develop a sense of rhythm and get exposed to music and dance at a very early age.
Music Together at Tri Star Music Together
Sunday, July 28th, 9 AM / Falls Church / Birth – 6 years old
Your little music lovers will be up on their feet moving to the beat in this class! Experience new songs, chants, movement activities, and rhythm instrument play led by a Music Together teacher trained in music and early childhood education.
Sparks Bollywood Fusion at Zind Performing Academy
Sunday, July 28th, 3 PM / Silver Springs / 5 – 6 years old
Bring your toddler to this very basic, beginner dance class to get them skilled and social! The Sparks class will get them accustomed to music, rhythm, memory, coordination. and other basic cognitive skills!
