8 Ways to Celebrate National Parents’ Day in San Francisco

National Parents’ Day is this weekend and here at KidPass we want to make sure all of you fabulous parents get out there and celebrate with your families!

Whether you sing and dance in a class together, explore a new museum, or have a family night out, we’ve got all the best ways for you to kick back and enjoy being a parent with the fam this weekend. Happy National Parents’ Day!

Twirling Together at Dance Effects
Saturday, July 27th, 9:45 AM / Campbell / 18 months – 3 years old

This class is designed to introduce children to the magical world of dance and music. Parents participate in class alongside the toddler to help guide and support their development in a safe environment. Through the use of fun props, movement activities, and music the class helps develop listening skills, gross motor movements, musicality, and social skills.

Music, Dance, and Play at Cucu’s PlayHouse
Saturday, July 27th, 11 AM / Campbell / 12 months – 5 years old

A selection of children songs in Spanish guides the class from start to finish. Games and activities are related to the lyrics, in order to familiarize the children with the words and their meanings. Some of the songs also encourage the children to dance.

Saturday Night Fun at Kindergarten Prep and Beyond
Saturday, July 27th, 5 PM / Milpitas / 24 months – 12 years old

Pack up dinner or grab a pizza and head here for a fun family night out! You and your kiddos will be entertained with toys, books, games, puzzles, Xbox Kinect, music from Alexa, and movies.

Open Play at Play Haven
Saturday & Sunday, July 27th & 28th, 9:30 AM / Sunset / Birth – 6 years old

Sometimes a little unstructured fun is the best way to hang with your kiddos. This play space includes an art studio, sensory activities, imaginative games, dramatic play areas, and even a rock climbing wall.

Take in some culture and expose your kiddies to some amazing artwork. Not only is this a great opportunity to expose them to the world of art, but walking a museum is also a great way to burn off some energy!

Chabot Space & Science Center 
Sunday, July 28th, hourly from 10 AM to 4 PM / Oakland / 24 months – 17 years old

Plan an adventure for the entire family! Stretch your boundaries and expand your universe at this super cool museum. General Admission includes access to hands-on interactive exhibitions, a full-dome large Planetarium, and the historic observatory.

Open Jump at Rockin’ Jump
Saturday & Sunday, July 27th & 28th, hourly from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM / Fremont / Birth – 17 years old

Hit up this super fun trampoline park and jump your sillies out this holiday week. Your kids will love jumping in the fun zone where friends jump together and perform acrobatics.
