7 Ways to Rock National Parents’ Day in DC

While there’s never a reason to NOT celebrate being parents, this Sunday is THE day to do it, because it’s National Parents’ Day! So forget the work and chores and enjoy the best part of parenthood—spending time with your littles!

Naturally, we’re trying to lighten your workload by helping with the planning, so we’ve rounded up some of the best ways to spend your Sunday! Hit an open play, jam at music, take a swing at mini golf, and more. Read on for all the best ways to spend National Parents’ Day with KidPass!

Open Play at MoBu Kids

Sometimes the best way to spend some time together is to just kick back with some unstructured play! Pop into this open play to enjoy their soft play area, bounce, climb, slide, and pretend!

Music Together at Tri Star Music Together

Open Jump at Rebounderz
Sunday, July 28th, hourly from 10 AM to 7 PM / Sterling / 5 – 17 years old

Challenge your kiddos to a jump-off at this 26,000 square foot state of the art facility. Jumpers will enjoy an arena-style trampoline Jumper with rebounding floors and angled rebounding side walls. Along with the Jumper, they also have a slam dunk basketball jumper, an X-Box Lounge, a WiFi lounge/café, and a state of the art arcade.

Over a dozen rotating activities are open to you when you visit KID Museum. Explore the KID floor and let your creativity come to life! Their Maker Educators and Apprentices are on hand at every station to guide you through the activities.

Laser Tag Session at Ultrazone Laser Tag
Sunday, July 28th, every half hour from 11 AM to 9:30 PM / Falls Church / 5 – 16 years old

For all the playful parents out there, strap on a vest and step into this labyrinth with your kiddies for a game of laser tag! Work together as a team to find your way through passageways and obstacles to defeat your opponents!

Go Indoor Mini Golfing at Monster Minigolf
Sunday, July 28th, every hour from 12 PM to 6 PM / Gaithersburg / 5 – 17 years old

Who says mini golf is an outdoor game?! At this awesome 18-hole indoor course, you can play rain or shine and stay cool on a hot summer day! Oh and did we mention that the entire course is completely under the luminescent glow of black lights? As if that’s not enough of a draw, your little ones can also hit the arcades, go mini-bowling, find their way through a laser maze, and more.
