6 Sweet Ways to Celebrate National Donut Day in NYC

Visit the Color Factory

The sweetest exhibit at this museum is where you can indulge in a palette of colorful treats featuring a custom-color ice cream scoop! But while you’re there, make sure to also make your way through all 16 participatory installations. Gaze at the ombré floating balloon wishes,  bust a move on the luminous dance floor, and jump into a room filled with balls!

Chocolate Workshop at Chocolate Works 
Friday, June 7th, 4 PM / Brooklyn Heights / 5 – 17 years old

What’s more delicious than chocolate? How about your very own custom chocolate creation? At this workshop, little chocolatiers can make, decorate, and enjoy chocolate. Dip into the fountain or create a unique masterpiece!

Storybook Cooking at Freshmade NYC 
Friday, June 7th, 1:30 PM / Greenwich Village / 24 months – 4 years old

While eating delicious treats is fun, working behind the scenes in the kitchen is even more fun! At this class, your kiddo’s favorite children’s books come to life as they create original recipes inspired by the stories.

Cooking! at Kid Works 
Friday, June 7th, 10:45 AM / Chelsea / 24 months – 4 years old

Little chefs will enjoy lots of sensory play (think bins of cornstarch, flour, cornmeal, or whatever the class happens to be working with that day) where they are encouraged to touch, feel, and squish to their heart’s content. These classes are ‘hands-on’ as children chop, mix, combine, and are introduced to kitchen tools like the whisk, spatula, blender, and mixer.
