8 Fresh Activities for Spring Break in NYC!

Don’t panic but… Spring Break is next week! Seriously though, don’t panic, that’s what we’re here for! No need to plan your camps and fun weeks in advance anymore, because we’ve got TONS of activities and plenty of spots for your kiddos, from drop-off camps to drop-in fun. Build an animal robot, create a chocolate bouquet, crown yourself a queen, and more. Check out all of our great Spring Break choices below and have a happy vaca week!

Day-Off Mini Camps The Craft Studio 
April 22nd – 26th, 9 AM – 1 PM / Tribeca / Upper East Side / 4 – 10 years old

Often called a mini party… your crafty kiddos will spend the day enjoying crafts and games with the coolest supplies, pizza for lunch, and more! If you’d like to get creative but don’t need a camp, check out all the other great toddler and craft classes both studios are offering daily as well.

Pretty Poseys at Chocolate Works
April 22nd – 26th, hourly from 12 PM – 4 PM  / Upper East Side / 3 – 12 years old

It’s Spring Break, so celebrate with some delicious flowers! Your little chocolatiers will make a bouquet of 5 chocolate flower lollipops, crushed Oreos, and gummy worms. Kids will wrap up the glass by showering a marshmallow in the chocolate fountain and getting their faces painted!

Spring Break Theater Camp at Galli Theater
April 22nd – April 24th, 9 AM –  3 PM / Tribeca / 4 – 10 years old

Have your budding thespians ever wanted to play a prince, princess, king or queen? Do the singing seven dwarfs or magical fairies tickle their fancy? This camp is just the right place to try out different roles from different fairy tales. Your kids will do warm-up games, movement activities, and theater games to prepare for the stage. At the end of the week, there is a presentation for friends and family!

Spring Break Camp at Snapology
April 22nd – April 26th, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM / AstoriaLower East Side / 4 – 10 years old

Astoria’s location will host a Creatures, Science of Superpowers, and Slime Camp where budding engineers will create their own animal-inspired robotic models and explore the world of their favorite superheroes. At the LES location, Video Game Design and Drone Commander is the theme. Kids will design their very own online game that they can actually take home to play. Then they’ll be introduced to the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles!

Spring Break Camp at Okabaloo #FunArtFaktory
April 22nd – April 26th, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM / Astoria / 6 – 10 years old

This is a well-rounded program of fun, enriching, and engaging activities for young children in a positive, nurturing, and creative environment. Kids will explore and develop skills in different interactive recreational activities, including visual arts, drawing and painting, arts and crafts, music, singing, song-writing, musical instruments, dance, creative movement, theatre, reading, story-telling, STEAM activities, and more.

Gymboree 
April 22nd – April 26th, various times / BaysideMurray Hill  / Park Slope / Pine Brook / Scarsdale / Tribeca / Upper East Side  / Yorktown / Birth  – 5 years old

With a great selection of art, play and learn, and sing-a-long classes, there’s literally something for everyone, big or small! Spring Break Camp at The Little Gym
April 23rd – April 25th, 1 – 4 PM / Bayside / 3 – 10 years old

School is out, but fun’s in at this gym! Combining physical activity, gymnastics, games, and arts & crafts, your kiddies will have quality ‘kid time’ in a safe, fun, familiar place.

Camp Intrepid Celebrate Earth Day at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum
April 22nd – April 26th, 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM / Hell’s Kitchen / 5 – 10 years old

Celebrate Earth Day week by learning about sustainability on both the Earth and in space. How can humans make their own planet sustainable and what would that look like on another planet?
