16 New Things To Do in the NYC Area

Here at KidPass, we’re always adding new, exciting activities. To that end, we’ve rounded up everything we’ve added to KidPass NYC in the past 2 weeks. Take a look at the list below and let us know if you and your kids will be trying any of these!

Albee School of Dance
Carroll Gardens / 3 – 10 years old

This dance school teaches gymnastics, ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, and dance theater. Whether or not students wish to perform professionally, they’ll gain self-confidence, coordination, and experience the joy of dance through carefully structured classes, taught by qualified and experienced teachers.

Asphalt Green
Battery Park City / Upper East Side / 4 months – 6 years old

This learn-to-swim curriculum was designed in partnership with world-renowned Olympic swim coach Milt Nelms. With classes for infants, which teach babies to feel comfortable in the water, to classes for older children which help them develop into more confident, independent swimmers in Advanced Water Tots, there’s something here for all levels of babies and tots.

Baby DJ School
Crown Heights / Upper West Side / Williamsburg / 2 months – 5 years old

New location at Shambhala Yoga and Dance Center in Crown Heights!

Baby DJ School is an interactive singalong that makes music education a dance party! Introduce your little one to records, digital DJing, and funky beats while developing their fine motor, ocular, language, and social skills. Winner of “Best of 2013” by TimeOut NY Kids and recommended by Parents Magazine, Red Tricycle, The Wall Street Journal, and Good Morning America, Baby DJ School features original songs and fosters a special bond between caretaker and baby.

The Bounce Factory
Warren, NJ / 2 – 5 years old 

Kids love to bounce, they love to slide, and they love to play. The new monster bounce houses are geared to let kids do just that. With challenging obstacle courses to race through, walls to climb, or slides to go down, your child will be physically active for their entire stay. You can also stick to the infamous velcro wall or box with oversized gloves and joust in the arena! Open play sessions offer two hours of physical activity geared to make your kids happy, healthy, and keep them smiling!


Bout Fight Club
Tribeca / 7 – 12 years old

Bout Fight Club was established in 2018 to make real boxing accessible for all. Their Young Boxers classes include cardio, shadow boxing, bag and pad work, and core strengthening exercises. These skills will provide kids with valuable self-defense tools, self-confidence, and keep them physically fit!

East Village / 2 – 10 years old

Bienvenue! Welcome to your new favorite nook in the East Village. The Croissanteria is a clean and cozy neighborhood establishment specializing in delicious coffee, scrumptious pastries, warm baguettes, and friendly service. Everything is made and baked in-house. Come by with your kids for a Snack and Color session, where you can choose between a Nutella sandwich or peanut butter and jelly!

Cup O’ Fun Cafe
Valley Stream, LI / 1 – 6 years old

Cup O’ Fun is a 8,000+ square foot kids’ indoor playground that offers a wide array of engaging activities, healthy snacks and meals, open play, play dates, mommy & me classes, arts and crafts, and more. Open Play sessions let the children unwind with lots to do: stuff-a-friend, play dress up, build a Lego castle, go rock climbing, jump in the bounce castle, engage in a virtual 3D interactive experience, and more!

Prospect Heights / Riverdale / Williamsburg / 3 – 11 years old

ElfTennis is a portable tennis school that provides comprehensive, affordable tennis classes at convenient, state-of-the-art locations. Classes consist of interactive drills and games, competitive point play, and agility and fitness training. Top notch tennis for top notch kids!


Galli Theater
Tribeca / 4 – 17 years old

The Galli Theater is a non-profit theater organization founded by award-winning playwright and philosopher Johannes Galli. Each year, the Galli Theater produces over ten innovative adaptations of fairy tales from around the world that entertain and teach valuable life lessons. What makes the theater’s performances so unique is their interactive style, with actors encouraging children in the audience to come on stage and perform alongside them. The plays are performed in English, German and French. This month, Aladdin and Little Red Riding Hood are on the schedule!

Greenwich Village / 6 months – 15 years old

I-CE NY is the original smashed ice cream in NY. The ice cream is made in a fun, unique way—by smashing ice cream base liquid and mixers on an iced plate. Customize your order with mix-in ingredients, such as fresh fruits or your favorite candy bar!

Imagine That!!!
Florham Park, NJ / 1 – 8 years old

For 20 years, Imagine That has provided safe, educational fun for children. This children’s museum offers a wide variety of exhibits and activities for the whole family. Children are encouraged to touch, discover, learn, and explore in this 16,000 square foot museum, featuring over 50 unique exhibits.

Little Feet Wise Heart Yoga
Fort Greene / Greenpoint / 6 months – 7 years old

Little Feet Wise Heart Yoga is now in Greenpoint!

Little Feet Wise Heart yoga is a company founded on the idea that by cultivating balance between hearts, minds, and bodies, we can connect to the essence of who we truly are—nurtured, connected human beings. By encouraging kids, families, and caretakers, we invite people big and small into the practice of yoga, mindfulness, and play as an opportunity for growth, understanding, and community building. Choose from Little Feet Yoga for babies, 2- to 5-year-olds, and Little Feet Family Yoga, for the whole family.


Love Jac (at Treasure Trunk Theater)
Brooklyn Heights / 2 – 4 years old

Love Jac provides art classes where the instructor introduces toddlers to famous artists and encourages the children to create their own age-appropriate masterpieces. Each week, the class focuses on a famous artist, engaging children in an age-appropriate craft highlighting that artist, and exposes your little one to a new art technique. The class includes songs, books, play-doh time, and a color of the day. Plus at the end of each class, your little one will make a greeting card that you can mail to a loved one.

Ramblin’ Dan & The Freewheelin’ Band
Gymboree Upper West Side / Ramblin’ Dan’s Studio Upper West Side / 0 – 3 years old

Ramblin’ Dan’s high energy and engaging classes are driven by his playful musicality and skillful guitar work. Dan’s musical range includes Rock N Roll, Reggae, Funk Hip Hop, Folk, and Bluegrass. His classes pull from pop hits old and new, fun versions of well-known kids’ songs, and his own original kids’ music. Using the music to lead the way, he’ll help the kids jam along on instruments, use various props for big and small movement activities, read song-based books, learn sign language, do animal play, and of course, clap, dance, and sing along.

Sparks Westside
Upper West Side / 4 months – 5 years old

Sparks is a division of Chabad Early Learning Center. Known for its excellence in education, Chabad Early Learning Center has been providing a warm and loving environment for children since the 1990s. Choose from a broad range of enriching and interactive programming for babies through 5 year olds.

Williamsburg Soccer Club (at The Backyard)
Williamsburg / 2 – 8 years old

Williamsburg Soccer Club’s goal is to give children a fun and enjoyable introduction to soccer. Classes are for boys and girls and each week will focus on different areas of the game, developing skills and ability, including shooting, dribbling, defending, ball control, and passing.
