Candy BBQ at Chocolate Works
Upper West Side / 3 – 12 years old

Start off a sweet summer at this Memorial Day event! Kids get to make four candy kebobs, an instant s’more, and play fun tasting games, all at this Upper West Side chocolate factory, party destination, and candy store wrapped into one.

Challah Bread Class with Sprouts Cooking Club at Breads Bakery
Union Square / 7 – 12 years old

Sprouts Cooking Club has teamed up with the incredible bakers at Breads Bakery to teach this hands-on challah bread baking class. Together, the young chefs will learn how to mix, knead, and braid the perfect loaf. Of course, they’ll be breaking bread together at the end of class to enjoy everything they’ve made!

Chelsea / 2 – 4 years old

Come to this truly age-appropriate cooking class for children of preschool age. These classes are ‘hands-on’ as children chop, mix, combine, and are introduced to kitchen tools like the whisk, spatula, blender, and mixer. Classes will cover cooking safety—and children will be encouraged to get messy!

Upper West Side / 2 – 6 years old

Here kids will learn age-appropriate recipes that focus on kid-friendly themes, colors, numbers, and shapes, all perfect for a midday snack. Little hands are kept busy creating healthful snacks using fresh, wholesome ingredients while also practicing other age-appropriate developmental skills.

After a long week of school, it’s time to have some fun in the kitchen! Children will prepare everything from scratch in these hands-on workshops. Classes are taught in age-appropriate increments so there’s something for everyone.

Memorial Day Fruit Tart & Snack at Agata & Valentina
Upper East Side / 5 – 12 years old

We’re inviting our chefs to show their stars and stripes! After enjoying a healthy snack, each child will get to assemble and decorate their own 7-inch red, white, and blue fruit tart to create a flag design that is both impressive and patriotic! 

Pizza, Pizza Party at Chocolate Works
Upper West Side / 3 – 15 years old

Come make your own chocolate pizza! Assemble your pizza with a crust of Oreos, graham crackers, or pretzels, glue it all together with chocolate, and then finish it off with candy toppings. Includes a chef hat and a pizza box for children to decorate with markers & crayons. So much fun!
