11 Things To Do in NYC Over Spring Break

It’s spring break!

If you’re jet-setting off to an island in the sun, have fun! But if, like us, you’re spending your week in the city with your little ones, here’s a round-up of things to do together that are (almost) as fun as sipping cocktails on a white-sand beach. 

Drop-off Mini Camp in Tribeca and UES
Daily 9 AM – 1 PM / Upper East Side and Tribeca / 4 – 10 years old

If your little one is in the mood for something crafty, The Craft Studio is the perfect place to let her imagination run wild. It’s located in a beautifully decorated spacious studio with an incredibly fun and creative staff. This drop-off mini camp is really a mini-party. There’s crafts, games, pizza, and more!

Little Creators at Church Street School for Music and Art
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9 AM – 12 PM / Tribeca / 16 months – 5 years old

Come by for a creative morning! Little Creators gives children early opportunities to experience art and music while making friends. Each session includes music and art class plus open play, social, and story time.

Open Play at Play City
Daily 9 AM – 7 PM / Weehawken / 0 – 9 years old

Play City is a year-round, indoor playspace for kids and their parents and caretakers. Enjoy over 2,000 square feet of fun in this secure and alternative playground. You can come for a few hours—or play all day!

Open Soccer at Upper 90 Soccer Center
Daily 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM / Astoria / 2 ½ – 16 years old

If you’re in Queens with little ones who have energy to burn, bring them to this open play soccer session on a turf field. Upper 90 Soccer Center is the premier soccer space in Queens with a 3,200 square foot indoor soccer field. Hours of high-energy fun!

Creatively Wild Spring Art Camp at Creatively Wild Studio
Daily 9:30 AM – 3:30 / Dumbo / 2 – 17 years old

Creatively Wild Art Studio is offering all day art camps for toddlers, kids aged 5-9, and teens! Happy Campers spend an action-packed day delving into a huge variety of exciting artistic techniques, learning skills and exploring mediums. Taught by professional teaching artists in a relaxed studio environment, this is the perfect safe place for creative play!

Open Play at The Little People Party 
Daily 10 AM – 5 PM / Williamsburg / 0 – 3 years old

The Little People Party is a tot party for little people (and their big people) that distinguishes itself from the competition by making fun a priority for all. The Party offers toys, music, and games and, just as importantly, offers the big people a mental break. Come on by and stay however long you’d like!

Fairytale Island
Daily 10 AM – 8 PM / Bay Ridge / 1 – 10 years old

Fairytale Island is an indoor playground and café for families to enjoy their precious moments with their kids. Their goal is to make a safer community for kids, while providing them with educational events to help them grow. Come for an hour, or play the whole day!

Open Play at Playquad
Daily 10 AM – 5:30 PM / Stamford / 2 – 8 years old

This Kids U PlayQuad is a large, multi-level jungle gym in a 2,000-square-foot free-play area where you can come and play anytime. The PlayQuad challenges children both physically and mentally, offering opportunities for dynamic and innovative exploratory play. Your child will not only have fun, but will develop better coordination, balance, flexibility, and strength.

The Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum
Daily 10 AM – 5 PM / Midtown West / 5 – 17 years old

The Intrepid Sea, Air, & Space Museum is an educational institution featuring the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid, the space shuttle Enterprise, the world’s fastest jets, and a guided missile submarine! Fun and educational for adults and kids alike.
